High intensity interval training isn’t just for our glutes, our core, or our cardiovascular fitness.

High intensity interval training is great for our FEELINGS, too—& can help us to express & process negative emotions like anger, grief, fear, frustration, anxiety, etc.

I use to HIIT to train participants in quick, intense, effective bursts, alternating between information, inspiration, activity, & reflection in 2-3 minute intervals. These sequential, scaffolded "micro-writing" experiences are fun & challenging &, like a HIIT class, prime participants for the heavy-lifting when they're back to “real life.”

I lead HIIT for the Heart workshops online & in person.
